Both the Virginia Baptist Historical Society and the Center for Baptist Heritage and Studies actively publish their own research and resources for the benefit of all.
VBHS Publications
The Virginia Baptist Register
Since 1962, the Virginia Baptist Register (VBR) has been published annually by the Society as a way to share its own research and to feature unique materials held by VBHS, making them accessible to a wider audience. It is available by subscription and held by libraries around the world. Members of the Society receive each new issue by mail, while individual issues are available for purchase.
In addition, VBHS publishes research projects that further our understanding of Virginia Baptist history and Baptist history more broadly, often in partnership with other publishers.
CBHS Publications
The Center regularly publishes projects that educate the public about the heritage of the Baptist tradition, including those by young and emerging scholars.
